The SP8440S is a fully integrated and versatile stand-alone VoIP Gateway for the transmission of both voice and fax over IP using the SIP protocol.
It provides 8-port FXS (analogue) interfaces for connecting directly to a phone, PBX, key telephone system or fax machine.
In addition, it provides 4 LAN ports for network use. By enabling QoS (dynamic bandwidth management), it will ensure sufficient bandwidth is always available for high quality voice and fax traffic. When the IP TOS (Type Of Service) bit is enabled, it will guarantee voice packets have top priority through the router.
With built-in CDR (call detail records), users are able to view call details including call duration, time and date of calls and latency.
With easy installation and configuration, this VoIP gateway is designed for both residential and business customers.
