All timed calls are charged in second increments, with a minimum charge of 1 minute for the call.

Most of these features can be configured through the customer care web site:
- Call screening - minimise interruptions by restricting incoming calls based on who is calling you. Nominated numbers can cause your phone to ring,or be forwarded to another phone number.
- Call forwarding - have all incoming calls forwarded to another phone number,or forward calls to another number when you are on the phone, or forward calls when there is no answer. The possibilities are endless!
- Group hunt - forward your incoming calls to a group of phone numbers which
are rung in sequential order.
- Time of day routing - forward your calls based on the time of day and day of week that an incoming call arrives.
- Time of day screening - control the times of day you receive incoming calls by setting time restrictions, which you personally nominate.
- View a detailed call history, as well as past invoices.
- Bonus features available with the engin Voice Box Series 2 including the ability to make calls on your engin service from any phone around the world!
Many common telephone features are also available.
- Caller ID - if your phone supports caller ID display, you can see who is calling you before you answer. And if you call someone with a phone that supports caller ID display, they will see your engin number. Caller ID can be blocked if desired.
- Three-way calling, auto-call-back (so you do not have to continuously try calling a busy number), call blocking, call forwarding and call-waiting.
The engin service can either be used from your PC with a soft-phone and any headset
or handset, or using the standard engin Voice Box which will turn any standard telephone (including cordless phones) into an Internet phone.

Virtual Numbers
Additional incoming numbers in any of engin's point of presence are charged at per number, per month. Once your engin account is active, simply call engin support 1300 305 000 to ad virtual numbers to your
account.
Signing Up
To connect to engin, all you need to do is purchase the engin Voice Box. For 119.00 dollars we will ship the unit to you, anywhere in Australia with an extremely easy to follow guide to get you up and running in minutes. After receiving the unit, all you need to do is plug it in to your network, and activate the box either online or by calling engin on their 1300 number (all details included
with the Voice Box). Get started now!
When activating your Voice Box, you will be required to provide proof of identity by means of details of your drivers license or passport, and your credit card details for billing. All billing is done on a post-paid basis. Detailed invoices are sent to your registered email address monthly, a your credit card is debited a couple of weeks later. You may view your call history at any time through the engin customer care website.
Technical Requirements
In order to use the engin Voice Box you will need a spare Ethernet port on your broadband router to plug the box into. If you currently only have a single PC that connects directly to a single port broadband modem, you will need to purchase an Ethernet router (the same piece of hardware that would allow you to share the Internet connection between multiple computers).
